Scriptures on Salvation
(from the New Living Translation)

Romans 3:21-23
21 But now God has shown us a different way of being right in his sight—not by obeying the law but by the way promised in the Scriptures long ago. 22 We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done.
23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.

Romans 3:21-23
12 When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

Acts 16: 30-31
30 He brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
31 They replied, "Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with your entire household."

Acts 10:42-43
42 And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is ordained of God to be the judge of all—the living and the dead. 43 He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name."

Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:1-3
1 Once you were dead, doomed forever because of your many sins. 2 You used to live just like the rest of the world, full of sin, obeying Satan, the mighty prince of the power of the air. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. 3 All of us used to live that way, following the passions and desires of our evil nature. We were born with an evil nature, and we were under God's anger just like everyone else.

Acts 4:12
12 There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them."

John 3:3
3 Jesus replied, "I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God."

John 1:12
12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Acts 2:21
21 And anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

John 3:16
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 20:30-31
30 Jesus' disciples saw him do many other miraculous signs besides the ones recorded in this book. 31 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
